As I am sure you are aware, job stress has become a common and costly problem in the American workplace, leaving few workers untouched. For example, studies report the following:
One-fourth of employees view their jobs as the number one stressor in their lives. Three-fourths of employees believe the worker has more on-the-job stress than a generation ago. Problems at work are more strongly associated with health complaints than are any other life stressor--more so than even financial problems or family problems.
Workplace stress is on the rise and some estimate that 80% of health care costs are stress related, and these expenses go right to the bottom line. Finding time to decompress from all the stress is so important! Stress reduction can improve both workplace attitude and performance -- a welcome benefit for employees and employers.
Often times we have little time to relax and release the tension of the day. My mission is to help people in the workforce to find interesting, fun, and effective ways to relax, release, restore and rejuvenate.
In an effort to bring relaxation techniques to more people, I do "in home" and "at work" group stress management clinics. In home and at work group relaxation and stress management clinics is my way of helping people to find interesting, fun, and effective ways to relax, release, restore and rejuvenate. During a clinic, groups experience several ways to relax and release stress including breathwork and guided meditation.
